🚀 Getting Started

What is DraftClip?
DraftClip is a powerful TikTok content management platform that allows you to upload videos to TikTok, schedule posts, manage multiple accounts, and integrate TikTok functionality into your applications via our API. We provide official TikTok API integration with enterprise-grade features.
How do I connect my TikTok account?
1. Log into your DraftClip account
2. Go to Dashboard → TikTok Accounts tab
3. Click "Connect TikTok Account"
4. Authorize the connection through TikTok's official OAuth
5. You can connect multiple TikTok accounts to one DraftClip account
What are the different pricing plans?
Free: 10 uploads/month, 1,000 API requests/month, 1 TikTok account
Pro ($29/month): 250 uploads/month, 50,000 API requests/month, up to 5 TikTok accounts, scheduled posts, and webhooks
Business ($99/month): 1,000 uploads/month, 1,000,000 API requests/month, up to 25 TikTok accounts, priority support, and advanced workflows

Visit the Pricing page for more details.

🔐 Account & Security

How do I enable two-factor authentication (2FA)?
1. Go to Settings → Two-Factor Authentication
2. Click "Enable 2FA"
3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
4. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm
5. Save your backup codes in a secure location

We strongly recommend enabling 2FA to protect your account.
Is my TikTok account safe?
Yes. DraftClip connects through TikTok's official OAuth flow, so we never see your TikTok password. You can revoke access at any time from TikTok settings, and tokens expire if you change your TikTok credentials. We only request the permissions required to upload and manage posts.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
1. Go to the login page
2. Click "Forgot Password?"
3. Enter your email address
4. Check your email for a password reset link (valid for 1 hour)
5. Click the link and set your new password

If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support.
How do I verify my email address?
You should receive a verification email when you register. Click the link in the email to verify your account. If you didn't receive it, go to Settings and click "Resend Verification Email". Email verification is required to access all features.
How can I view my active sessions?
Go to Settings → Active Sessions to see all devices where you're logged in. You can revoke individual sessions or log out of all other devices. Each session shows the device type, IP address, and last activity time.
How do I export my data (GDPR)?
Go to Settings → Privacy & Data Management and click "Export My Data". This will download a JSON file containing all your personal data, including account info, upload history, payments, and security logs. This feature is provided in compliance with GDPR.

📹 Video Uploads

What video formats and sizes are supported?
Format: MP4 (recommended), MOV, WebM
Max Size: 500MB
Duration: 3 seconds to 10 minutes
Resolution: Minimum 720p, recommended 1080p (9:16 aspect ratio)
Codec: H.264 video, AAC audio

Videos that don't meet these requirements may fail to upload.
Do you store my videos?
We temporarily store uploaded files so we can process them, complete the upload, and support scheduled posts. After the upload finishes (or fails), temporary files are removed on a rolling cleanup schedule, and we keep only upload metadata for your history.
How do I schedule a post?
1. Go to Dashboard → Upload Video
2. Select your video file and enter title/description
3. Click "Schedule for Later" instead of "Upload Now"
4. Choose your desired date and time
5. Your video will automatically post at the scheduled time

Note: Scheduled posts are available on Pro and Business plans.
Will TikTok ban me for this?
DraftClip uses TikTok's official APIs, which is the same channel used by approved publishing tools. TikTok still reviews content and account behavior against its Community Guidelines. As long as your content is compliant and you follow platform rules, using DraftClip does not add extra risk.
Why did my upload fail?
Common reasons for upload failures:
• Video doesn't meet TikTok's format requirements
• File size exceeds 500MB limit
• You've reached your monthly upload quota
• TikTok account authorization expired (reconnect your account)
• Network timeout during large file upload
• TikTok API temporary outage

Check the error message in Upload History for specific details.
Can I upload the same video to multiple TikTok accounts?
Yes! When uploading, you'll see a dropdown to select which connected TikTok account to post to. To post to multiple accounts, upload the video separately for each account. DraftClip account limits scale by plan: 1 account on Free, up to 5 on Pro, and up to 25 on Business.

🔌 API Usage

How do I get API access?
1. Log into your DraftClip account
2. Go to Dashboard → API Keys tab
3. Click "Generate New API Key"
4. Give your key a name (e.g., "My App")
5. Copy the key immediately (it will only be shown once)
6. Use the key in your API requests via the Authorization header

See our API Documentation for integration guides.
What can I do with the API?
The DraftClip API allows you to:
• Upload videos programmatically
• Schedule posts for later
• Retrieve upload status and history
• Manage multiple TikTok accounts
• Check usage quotas
• Receive webhook notifications for events

Full API reference available at docs.php
How do I secure my API keys?
• Never commit API keys to version control
• Store keys in environment variables or secure vaults
• Use IP whitelisting to restrict key usage (Dashboard → API Keys → Whitelist IPs)
• Rotate keys regularly
• Delete unused keys
• Monitor API usage in the dashboard for suspicious activity

If a key is compromised, delete it immediately and generate a new one.
What are webhooks and how do I use them?
Webhooks send real-time notifications to your server when events occur (e.g., upload completed, post published). To set up:
1. Go to Dashboard → Webhooks tab
2. Add your webhook URL
3. Select which events to listen for
4. Your server will receive POST requests with event data

Note: Webhooks are available on Pro and Business plans.

💳 Billing & Plans

How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to the Pricing page and select your desired plan. Cashfree Checkout handles plan payments, and we can help arrange invoice-based billing for larger Business accounts. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you'll be prorated for any unused time on your current plan.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Dashboard → Billing and click "Cancel Subscription". Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period, then automatically downgrade to the Free plan. You can resubscribe at any time without losing your data.
When do my monthly quotas reset?
Monthly quotas (uploads and API requests) reset on your subscription renewal date each month. You can view your current usage and reset date in Dashboard → Usage Stats. Unused quota does not roll over to the next month.
Do you offer refunds?
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of your initial purchase. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods or unused quota, but you can cancel anytime to stop future renewals.

🔧 Troubleshooting

My TikTok account keeps disconnecting. What should I do?
TikTok access tokens can expire after 90 days or if you change your TikTok password. To fix:
1. Go to Dashboard → TikTok Accounts
2. Click "Reconnect" next to your account
3. Re-authorize the connection

If the issue persists, try revoking DraftClip's access in your TikTok settings, then reconnect.
I'm getting "Quota Exceeded" errors. What does this mean?
You've reached your monthly upload or API request limit for your current plan. Check your usage in Dashboard → Usage Stats. You can:
• Wait until your quota resets (shown in Usage Stats)
• Upgrade to a higher plan for more quota
• Contact sales for a custom higher-volume plan
Video uploads are very slow. How can I speed them up?
• Use a stable, high-speed internet connection
• Compress videos to reduce file size (while maintaining quality)
• Upload during off-peak hours
• Use our chunked upload API for files over 100MB
• Check if your browser or antivirus is interfering

If issues persist, contact support for assistance.
I'm not receiving email notifications. What's wrong?
• Check your spam/junk folder
• Add no-reply@drafttok.com to your contacts
• Verify your email address in Settings
• Check your email notification preferences
• Try a different email provider if delivery continues to fail

If you still don't receive emails, contact support.
